Mercedes opens Vaughan facility with Autohaus open design
A new Mercedes-Benz dealership opened Monday in the Maple Auto Mall at 9300 Jane St. with a complement of 30 staff. The store is the automaker’s seventh in the GTA and 14th in Canada.
“This area of (greater) Toronto is growing very quickly,” said Marcus Breitschwerdt, president and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Canada. “It was critical that we become an engaged player in this neighbourhood.”
Following the company’s established open-concept Autohaus store design, the new 3,330-square-metre facility also features a selection of Smart cars. The service department includes 14 service bays, three wash bays, a parts department and a drive-in service reception area.
The first sale on the books belongs to Cathy Zanchin, who picked up her new SL550 coupe on Monday.
“This new facility is absolutely gorgeous,” she said. “(It’s) totally what I expected from Mercedes-Benz.”
