Search on for new Wonderland talent

The weather outside is still frightful but a sure sign spring is about to bloom is coming to Canada’s Wonderland.

The city’s top employer is set to begin its search for performers and other talent for the entertainment destination’s 2009 season, its 29th.

Wonderland puts on its audition tour every year to find actors, figure skaters, musicians, singers, variety artists, stage managers and technicians to star in and produce its live shows.

Public auditions are set to take place between noon and 2 p.m. at the park’s Wonderland Theatre on Feb. 7 and 15, and at the University of Toronto’s St. Vladimir’s Institute on Feb. 13 and 14.

Students at Sheridan and Humber colleges, and Ryerson and York universities will get to strut their stuff at private auditions and interviews.
