Thornhill eatery charged

York Regional Health Services inspectors charged one Vaughan restaurant with infractions under the Health Protection and Promotion Act on June 27.

1001 Nights Restaurant at 72 Steeles Ave. West in Thornhill was cited for maintaining food premise in a manner adversely affecting sanitary condition.

The eatery was also charged with failing to protect food from contamination or adulteration.
